Here at mcgarrybowen, we're currently hiring for a Digital Strategy Director. Key clients will include Hidden Valley Ranch, Fresh Step (and Intel as needed). Will report to the Managing Director, Head of Strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Partner externally with Digital and Brand clients and internally with Brand Strategy, Creative and Production to develop campaign and always-on digital strategy and integrated communications plans
  • Institute new strategic planning framework to help agency and clients think and act digital-first
  • Build strong client relationships at the senior level to institute strategy and programs for CRM, Ecommerce, and more
  • Lead on-going digital education programs for agency and clients
  • Stay up to speed on the latest digital and technology news and innovation
  • Manage and mentor Senior Digital Strategist
  • Pitch new business and grow business organically with existing clients

Core Skills

  • People-First: Understands consumer needs and how to creatively solve for them using digital technology. Knows the proper frameworks to map and impact the consumer journey. 
  • Brand Guru: Has the ability to translate advertising platforms into brand actions that add value to consumers’ lives and align with the brand’s mission. Has proven track record in working on big brands and creating award-winning work. 
  • Change Agent: Can help agencies and clients change their mindset and process to think digital and act first.
  • Master of Persuasion: Knows how to effectively sell ideas internally and externally, lead clients in work sessions and in formal presentations, and partner with creatives to create amazing work.

Qualifications

  • Has worked at a digital agency and ideally an integrated ad agency
  • In-depth understanding of digital, social, mobile, CRM, ecommerce and corresponding analytics
  • Has solid understanding of UX and design thinking
  • Ideally has some coding experience and/or has worked at a start-up
  • College Degree
