Here at mcgarrybowen, we're currently hiring for an Account Executive.

Responsibilities

STRATEGY AND MARKETING

  • General knowledge of all aspects of clients business and the ability to apply that knowledge to meaningful insights, counsel and planning for the client’s business and agency assignments
  • Demonstrates the ability to interpret, prioritize and incorporate additional and/or shifting information into existing strategies, projects and plans
  • Collaborates in a meaningful way with immediate supervisor on development, writing and implementation of agency points of view/recommendations, creative briefs etc.
  • Can effectively articulate the agency’s point of view and effectively defend

PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND EXECUTION

  • Consistently manages projects and assignments independently and can proactively and creatively resolve problems/issues along the way
  • Understands when and how to keep Account Supervisor informed on key project details, when to get AS/management feedback
  • Demonstrates understanding of the print and broadcast development and production processes
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to solve problems creatively 

CLIENT MANAGEMENT

  • Day-to-day resource for clients on projects as well as general inquiries, requests, etc., builds a solid rapport with appropriate clients
  • Partners with clients for strategic and executional needs
  • Demonstrates mature leadership in difficult situations, escalates client difficulties appropriately 

COMMUNICATION

  • Possesses solid active listening skills
  • Actively participates in all meetings
  • Effectively writes clear, concise logical internal and client documents
  • Has good presentation skills 

TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT OF OTHERS

  • Advises, motivates, and mentors direct reports
  • Acts as resource for agency colleagues
  • Takes the time necessary to assess and evaluate the work and progress of direct reports on an ongoing basis

Qualifications

  • 1+ Years of Integrated Advertising Agency Experience
