    Here at mcgarrybowen, we're currently hiring for a Facilities Assistant

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee day-to-day facilities operations & resolve daily challenges.
    • Hands-on and proactive maintenance of the overall appearance of the office.
    • Keep office organized and in good working order.
    • Organize and conduct inventory throughout facilities storage spaces.
    • Maintain supply closet and pantries to ensure they are fully stocked at all times.
    • Order & stock office supplies.
    • Support seating and space utilization changes, including hands-on assistance with office moves and changes in space set-up.
    • Delegate employee access cards, including both DGA and Starrett-Lehigh.
    • Assist with office event set up and client meeting set up.
    • Assist with any special projects as determined by Office Manager.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • 1-2 years facilities experience.
    • Professional, positive attitude and appearance.
    • Excellent verbal, listening & communication skills.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to balance competing priorities with strong follow-up skills and sense of urgency.
    • Ability to interact diplomatically and professionally.
    • Ability to work collaboratively and professionally as a member of the team.
    • Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
    • Must be handy with tools and able to make basic repairs.
    • Proficient in Google Suite (gmail, Google Drive, Docs) & Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Dependable attendance & punctuality.
