    We are currently hiring a Group Planning Director with a fully integrated background.  This person will be a strong strategic leader and will have the ability to go eye-to-eye with clients.  

     

     

     

     

    Responsibilities

    1. What we are looking for: 

      Someone to serve as the visionary strategic leader for the businesses for which he/she is responsible as well as be a contributor to the leadership of the New York Strategy group. Focused on discerning big opportunities in the department and aids in the growth and development of it and its people- our most important asset. Demonstrates and fosters a collaborative work environment in which ideas flourish and are shared. Able to lead and direct new business efforts with a clear understanding of the agencies go-to market strategy. Ultimately responsible for the overall quality of the strategic and creative work in partnership with creative leadership. Demonstrates the ability to mentor group members, in addition to be able to help manage their projects on a day-to-day basis, and motivate them to push their thinking to the next level through a visionary approach to their problems. Contributes to the agencies intellectual property by developing broad- based initiatives on techniques and topics relevant to Agency and Client interests. Oversees and suggests enhancements to the career development of all the individuals in their group.

      On the businesses they are directly responsible for, they serve as the lead team member with ultimate responsibility for the quality of the strategic and creative products the team produces. Is a strong client and creative partner to drive the brand and business mission forward.

    • Candidate must be able to efficiently span larger pieces of business (range 10 million plus)

    • Candidate will need to be a strong client and creative partner to drive the brand and business mission forward.

      Fresh thinking, strong story-telling skills, a deep understanding of culture and its ability to inspire fresh ideas is a

      must.

    • Flexible thinker—adaptive and responsive to feedback, changing conditions “Great on their feet”

    • A belief & behavior person- has the ability to seamlessly understand and architect ideas that not only shift

      perceptions around a brand but also clearly understand the behaviors and actions that will help transform the business. Must be able to craft strategies that cross all modern mediums and demonstrate the ability to help integrate platforms seamlessly.

    Qualifications

    Job Qualifications:

    • 10+  or more years of experience in the Advertising industry

    • Teamwork and strategic focus
