    We are currently hiring an Account Supervisor.

    Responsibilities

    - Provides strategic recommendations and manages all Company/Agency resources to ensure the Client’s marketing needs are met

    - Leads and monitors day-to-day activities; manage, motivate, and develop Account team; and work with other departments to develop and execute strategies that will build the Client’s business

    - Overall growth and development and meeting profit goals on account

    - Maintains a high level of performance by the account teams and other agency personnel

    - Sufficiently informed and personally involved, ensuring sound planning, proactive service and a solid client/agency relationship

    - Keeps Management informed of the status of his/her group’s account, problems, plans and meetings, as well as involving Management personnel at key times

    - Organizes and participates in annual review and pre-planning sessions internally and/or with the client

    - Reviews account status, periodically, and maintain frequent client contact commensurate with needs

    - Analyzes and manages account financials and take necessary action to insure profitability and sound record-keeping

    - Primary point of contact/approval on client schedules, travel plans, vacation/production schedules and other routine requests by your group

    - Implements account management division directives, procedures, and policies

     

    STRATEGY AND MARKETING 

    - Thorough knowledge of client’s business, in both traditional and digital areas, so that marketing and advertising problems and opportunities can be anticipated and addressed in holistic, timely manner

    - Passionate leader of brand and responsibility for overall growth and development of account

    - Viewed as leader in providing creative input that improves the creative product and effectively sells into client

    - Thought leader on planning and developing marketing strategies in close partnership with Strategy leads

    - Assimilates customer and marketplace insight into the development of creative strategies and communication programs

    - Understands the value and role of various media vehicles and key partner agencies responsibilities and areas of expertise and collaboration

    - Develops and delivers client presentations or recommendations or lead strategic/creative discussions

    - Provides actionable solutions and ideas for clients’ unique business and marketing challenges

     

     PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND EXECUTION 

    - Leads, manages and collaborates with, and inspires account, strategy and creative teams to consistently deliver work that is in line with campaign creative/strategic objectives, on time and on budget

    - Has thorough understanding of strategic development, creative development and production processes, and actively manages these day-to-day processes,  leading projects to successful completion

    - Effective in balancing client and agency demands to deliver high quality work, often in the face of aggressive deadlines

    - Displays strong financial management skills - Owns financials for the client; steering budgets, and investments- resolving any issues with the client, senior leadership or finance when necessary

    - Experience working in a fast-paced environment and client dynamic, proven self-starter with ability to adapt and deliver with support of management when faced with changing deadlines or ambiguity

     

    CLIENT MANAGEMENT 

    - Leads and manages key day-to-day client relationships, serving as the primary contact to articulate the mcgarrybowen view on strategy and business philosophies as well as creative and production processes and workstreams

    - Works as a partner and advisor to day-to-day clients and internal teams, alike

    - Can frame the key issues facing the client and develop recommended, thoughtful and actionable solutions

    - Demonstrates effective account management, prioritization, organization and follow-through to all client levels

    - Has visible presence with day-to-day client leads

     

    COMMUNICATION 

    - Uses clear, concise written skills to effectively communicate to internal or client personnel, but moreover seeks out opportunities to engage with clients/teams on interpersonal level

    - Upholds confident, professional standards within team for all written and verbal client contact

    - Uses strong listening skills to preempt, react and resolve issues and identify opportunities for improvement, when necessary

    - Mobilizes agency teams to meet common, clearly defined goals and helps set realistic timelines and expectations

     

    TEAMWORK AND AGENCY 

    - Keeps Management informed of the status of the account’s key activities/workstreams, problems, plans and meetings, as well as involving Management personnel at key times.

    - Develops people within the team and across capabilities by coaching, identifying areas for growth, celebrating successes, keeping an open dialogue with team, identifying training opportunities

    - Establishes and grows relationships across capabilities

    - Strong team builder with client and internal teams • Identified by agency colleagues as a desired team-leader, counterpart and overall positive, effective, collaborative force

    - Displays integrity and is respected by peers, colleagues, and clients

    - Contributes to or leads mcgarrybowen initiatives

    Qualifications

    4+ years of relevant industry and general advertising experience. Heavy traditional TV and digital experience is preferred.
