    Responsibilities

    Position Description

    The Client Finance Specialist is responsible for timely and accurate management of Client funds through managing inventory, preparation of billing and collections of past due billing. These responsibilities are carried out with a strong independent work ethic, integrity and transparency.

     

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Proactively prepare accurate and timely Client billing invoices.
    • Maintain appropriate files, documents and reports pertaining to Client billing.
    • Verify all billing transactions comply with Agency and parent company policies and procedures.
    • Coordinate Client billing, accounts receivable and inventory management with internal Agency teams.
    • Foster and maintain positive working relationships with Agency teams and Client contacts.
    • Communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
    • Prioritize workload to meet billing deadlines and goals/objectives within agreed upon time frames.
    • Work with Cash Application team to ensure proper and timely allocation of Client payments.
    • Ensure Clients remain informed.
    • Identify inconsistencies, provide solutions and check validity of accounts.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing or other Finance Department roles is preferred but not mandatory.
    • BS/BA in Business Management or Accounting.
    • Must be PC proficient and have strong experience in Microsoft Outlook and Excel (v-lookup; pivot tables); Experience in automated accounting systems a plus.
    • Must be able to manage and prioritize conflicting deadlines.
    • Must possess strong follow-up skills.
    • Motivated with the goal of becoming a long term asset to the group and the Agency.
    • Must be a strong team player.
    • Must be able to work independently.
    • Must have a strong work ethic.
